Clase S Mercedes Sedans Limousines
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is updated mainly with more precise technology
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class has an improved autonomous driving system and MBUX, as well as offering greater personalisation and the special S-Class Edition

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the quintessential saloon of the German brand, its flagship, where the finest materials and the best technology come together to deliver maximum driving pleasure and, especially, a superb travelling experience, because the S-Class is a car that is undoubtedly enjoyed much more from the rear seats. Now the current generation, after several years on the market, receives updates to its key technological features along with a new special edition.
Improved Drive Pilot and MBUX systems
The Drive Pilot autonomous driving system is now more capable: previously it was only available in urban traffic, as it could not be used above 60 km/h, whereas now its limit rises to 95 km/h, allowing it to be used in normal traffic conditions more often and for longer periods. It will obviously remain extremely safe, being designed with redundancy: critical functions such as the electrical systems, steering and braking have backup components and, should the driver fail to respond, the system uses more than 35 sensors to bring the vehicle to a stop with complete safety.

The MBUX system fitted to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class will also be improved through wireless updates. The first thing users will notice is the integration of ChatGPT into the voice assistant via Microsoft Azure’s OpenAI service, which provides accurate, up-to-date answers to a wide range of questions. The second is navigation, which has been improved with the introduction of Google satellite view. Finally, the Entertainment Package Plus is now available through the Mercedes-Benz Store, giving access to streaming services such as YouTube and RIDEVU from Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Greater personalisation and the new S-Class Edition special edition

Thanks to the Manufaktur programme, Mercedes-Benz customers can personalise their vehicle with a wider range of special colours and materials; in the case of the S-Class, this means access to more than 50 new paint colours and 25 additional interior options, from hand-made textiles to premium leather or exclusive wood inlays. All Manufaktur programme options will be available anywhere in the world.

Mercedes-Benz also announces the S-Class Edition, a special edition that highlights the sporty side of this model and its exclusive design. It comes as standard with the AMG Line and Night packages, and its bodywork will be available in five colours chosen for the occasion, including the Manufaktur colours Night Black Magno and Opalite White Bright, not forgetting the gloss-black door handles and the 20-inch AMG Digital Light wheels with projection function.

Inside the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Edition, as soon as you open the doors you will see the black sill plates with the Mercedes-Benz lettering illuminated. The upholstery is Nappa leather in three colour variants and, on the technology side, it includes a head-up display and the Burmester 3D surround sound system, finished off with a digital edition emblem integrated into the MBUX that reminds us we are looking at a special edition.
