The new Alpine A110 finally unveiled ahead of its debut in Geneva
Automobiles Alpine presents the images of what will be its first product after 10 years of inactivity. The new A110 will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show.
With just seven days to go until its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, Alpine has revealed the first images of its new two-seater sports car. It is called A110 and brings together all the timeless principles of compact, lightweight and agile cars, which once made the Berlinette (predecessor of this model in the 1980s) so successful.
Even though this is the first product Alpine has presented in decades, the details of its technical specifications will be kept secret until it is presented at the Geneva Motor Show.

The characteristics of the A110 are a secret until the premiere, but we know a couple of interesting facts. The look of the new model is reminiscent of the Vision prototype that Alpine presented at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Its bodywork and chassis will be made of aluminium, which will help keep its weight down without sacrificing any rigidity. It is believed it will feature a 1.8-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine producing an output of between 250 and 300 CV, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
Automobiles Alpine has been taking orders for this sports car since late 2016. To reserve one of the first Alpine A110s to arrive in our country, a deposit of €2,000 must be paid in advance.

For those who are not familiar with the brand’s history, Alpine is a French manufacturer of sports and competition cars that was always linked with Renault. Founded by Jean Rédélé in 1955, Alpine was one of the few French manufacturers to enjoy success in competition after the Second World War. In 1995 it disappeared after forty years taking part in such iconic events as the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the WRC. Caterham, a British company associated with Renault, acquired a 50% stake in the company in 2012 with the aim of producing competition models in collaboration with the French.
