AMI Citroen Electric Cars Urban
The new Citroën Ami and its Buggy variant now have official pricing
Citroën will begin accepting orders in Europe for the new Ami and Ami Buggy from 6 May, with the first deliveries scheduled for August.
Citroën has just announced important developments in its micromobility range with the revamped Ami and the new Ami Buggy version, both designed to offer practical and affordable solutions for urban use. The new Ami finally keeps the base price of its predecessor, starting at €7,990. Meanwhile, the Ami Buggy, shown at the Paris Motor Show, will be available from €9,590. Orders in Europe will begin on 6 May, and deliveries are scheduled for August.
The new Ami offers an urban range of 75 km and a charging time of 4 hours using a standard Schuko plug. With this updated model, the French manufacturer will offer three new colour packs, called Spicy, Icy and Minty, which give it a fresh and youthful touch. We should remember that in some European countries the Ami can be driven by teenagers who are not yet 18 and do not hold a standard driving licence, a moped licence being sufficient.

As for the Ami Buggy, this model is presented as a variant geared towards leisure and outdoor enjoyment. Its design, without doors or roof, contributes notably to this, with the doors replaced by black metal bars with hinges. Customers may, however, purchase zipped covers for the door openings, which can be rolled up and stored when not in use. It also features a soft roof and exclusive details such as a black rear spoiler and 14-inch steel wheels with a gold finish. This model will be available in a vibrant yellow colour Palmeira.
Interior minimalism
Both vehicles include functional interior equipment, with three storage boxes, a bag hook, two mats, a central separation net, a smartphone holder and the My Connect Box system for connecting devices. These features aim to maximise comfort and practicality for daily use, without significantly affecting the cost of the vehicle.

Citroën has also introduced a modular load kit that optimises storage space. This system allows the driver’s and passenger’s areas to be divided, and converts the front passenger seat into a loading surface with a capacity of up to 340 litres, ideal for transporting parcels or bulky items. When not needed, the kit can be folded away and stored, restoring full access to both seats.

With the new Ami and Ami Buggy, Citroën reinforces its commitment to micromobility, offering compact, versatile vehicles adapted to the needs of modern users, whether for urban journeys or outdoor adventures.
