The new Hyundai KONA features top-segment technology
Total connectivity, advanced safety and innovative features, the Hyundai KONA stays ahead of its time with incredible cutting-edge technology

Hyundai, under its motto Progress for Humanity, once again demonstrates its commitment to the environment and sustainability with its goal of achieving full electrification by 2035 with the launch of the second generation of the KONA. A model that has captivated many enthusiasts and introduces a range of very competitive cutting-edge technologies for the B-SUV segment. Before getting into its cutting-edge technology, let me say that there is one thing about the Hyundai I love: its interior doesn’t show the logo anywhere.
Digital Key and Secure Access
The KONA welcomes the digital era with its Digital Key, an easy way to lock, unlock and start the vehicle using the NFC technology of your smartphones or Apple, Samsung and Google Pixel smartwatches, something all brands are incorporating into their latest models but, on this occasion, you can share it with up to three friends.
Advanced driving cockpit
Stepping inside, the KONA is not simply a car, it is a digital travel companion thanks to its Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC), a technology that delivers a futuristic driving experience with dual 12.3-inch panoramic displays, both screens integrated into the Audio Video Navigation (AVN) system.
Total connectivity with Bluelink®
The KONA not only connects with its driver, but also establishes a full connection with the smartphone and the network via Bluelink®, the latest version of Hyundai connectivity. It transfers real-time data, allows voice control, over-the-air updates, and practical services such as calendar synchronisation with the car’s infotainment system.

Voice Recognition and Remote Control via App
Bluelink connectivity® is not only smart but also intuitive, with online voice recognition to control various functions and an app that lets drivers connect with their vehicles through their smartphones. Want to adjust the temperature, change the radio station or open the sunroof? Just say so, and the KONA will obey your words. And when you are away from your KONA, the Bluelink App connects you with it.
OTA (Over-The-Air) updates and advanced parking
With OTA updates, KONA owners enjoy the latest technology on an ongoing basis. Another example is the advanced parking system with surround view monitor and Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA) which, with its Surround View Monitor (SVM), lets you see everything around your vehicle on one screen. You can also operate it remotely with Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA). Yes, you tap your smart key, and the car moves to help you into or out of those tight spaces.
Advanced safety and ADAS
The KONA spares no expense on safety, incorporating top-segment features such as the Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) and advanced driver assistance systems such as Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA), Driver Attention Warning (DAW) and High Beam Assist (HBA). It is also equipped with several comfort features, such as Smart Cruise Control (SCC), Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC) and Lane Following Assist (LFA).
It also features Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2.0 (FCA 2.0), which additionally provides features such as Evasive Steering Assist, Safe Exit Assist, Oncoming Lane Change Assist and Side Lane Change Assist. It also includes Highway Driving Assist 2.
i-PEDAL and Intelligent Regenerative Braking
The KONA Electric offers a unique driving experience with i-PEDAL, allowing drivers to accelerate, decelerate and stop with a single pedal, plus intelligent regenerative braking that adapts to traffic.
Bidirectional Charging and Sustainability
And finally, bidirectional charging: the KONA not only takes you places, it also powers your devices and appliances. With its bidirectional charger and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function, you can charge whatever you need with 3 kW of power, whether from an interior socket that has 230 V or from an exterior one via the V2L adapter while the car is parked.
