The new Lexus RZ450e is shown in detail in these images

Accompanied by images in which we could see its design in a fairly brief way, Lexus presented us just over a month ago with its new RZ 450e, a fully electric SUV that would be built on the e-TNGA platform. The same one used by its cousin from another brand, the Toyota bZ4X, or the Subaru Solterra.

Now, the Japanese firm has just presented its global results for 2021, and has taken the opportunity to show us new images of the aforementioned RZ 450e, in which we can see the front, side and rear of the highly anticipated SUV in full detail, which has its debut set for this coming spring.

With proportions very similar to the models with which it shares its platform, the new Lexus RZ 450e features a front dominated by sharp headlights following the styling language the brand has accustomed us to, and a muscular bumper which, although it lacks the characteristic grille of its siblings, has the same shape to make it clear that we are looking at a Lexus.

A very athletic profile

If we turn 90 degrees, the new wheels, pronounced style ridges, SUV-style body protection and its athletic roofline sloping down give it a very personality-filled yet elegant look, especially in the metallic grey colour of the unit in the photographs.

At the rear, its horizontal light signature to create a greater sense of width, its subtle spoiler and the aggressive aerodynamic outlets of its bumpers add the perfect touch of sportiness to complete the design of this new SUV.

As for its mechanical aspects, Lexus has not officially confirmed any data, although given the platform it is built on, it will have a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version that will develop around 215 CV, paired with a 71.4 kWh battery, which will allow it to offer a range figure of around 450 kilometres.
