The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV announces its equipment and prices for Spain

The arrival of the fourth generation of the Mitsubishi Outlander has been slow-cooked by the Japanese brand, with small but steady steps that began in 2023 and with a presentation that took place in October 2024 so that, at the beginning of this year, it could announce that the new Outlander PHEV would reach the various markets this spring. No sooner said than done, because the new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is already available to order in Spain.

As we already mentioned at the time, the fourth generation of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV presents an imposing look, partly thanks to its front end with a large grille framed by Full LED headlights split into two sections. From the side, it is clear this is a large SUV, and good proof of this are its 18- or 20-inch alloy wheels, together with a rear pillar that noticeably separates the bodywork from the roof, while at the rear the Japanese brand has proposed a hexagonal design and a tailgate inspired by the Montero.

The interior of the new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will be more than adequate: attractive, elegant and fully functional. Mitsubishi has focused on reflecting in the interior design the Japanese concept of omotenashi, based on attention to detail and hospitality, so that its occupants will benefit from a spacious, roomy and comfortable cabin in all its trim levels, which, depending on the one chosen, rise in quality and technological equipment. On top of this comes a boot capacity of 495 litres, expandable to 1,422 litres if the seats are folded down.

And so, without further ado, let us see what the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will offer in each of its trim levels, the entry-level range being the one called Motion, which includes elements such as the following:

Finally, there will be a trim level called First Edition, which sits at the top of the range and includes, over and above all of the above, the following elements:

Mechanically, as we already know, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV will be available only with a combination of a 2,360 cc, 16-valve four-cylinder petrol engine and two electric motors, one on each axle, resulting in a combined power output of 302 CV and a torque of 400 Nm, which is sent to all four wheels through its S-AWC traction system with seven driving modes. We must not forget the 22.7 kWh battery and an electric range of 86 kilometres (total range of 844 kilometres), which can be charged to 80% in 32 minutes using a CHAdeMO fast charger or fully in 6.5 hours on a 3.5 kW domestic charger.

The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is available at prices starting from 48,300 euros for the Motion trim, from 53,900 euros for the Kaiteki trim, from 56,500 euros for the Kaiteki+ trim and, finally, 58,500 for the First Edition trim. It is worth noting that all trim levels will benefit from a commercial and financing discount of 4,000 euros on the above prices.
