Škoda has opened the doors of the new Škoda Museum in Mladá Boleslav. This centre will offer visitors a tremendous journey, in a varied, interactive and multimedia way, through the 117 years of history of the Czech brand, illustrated by cars, films, testimonies and documents, all presented in the most modern way possible across more than 1,800 square metres of exhibition space.
In this way, visitors will be able to discover the entire history of Škoda first-hand, thanks to three thematic zones where up to 46 historic vehicles are on display. The people designing the museum had in mind something more than simply creating an exhibition space, so they brought together a large amount of outstanding content and structured the exhibition in the best possible way, supported at all times by modern and interactive content.
Winfried Vahland, Chairman of the Board of Management of Škoda
ŠKODA is one of the automotive brands with the richest tradition in the world. The whole company is proud of its history. The new ŠKODA Museum is a special expression of that pride. It is a calling card, a meeting point, a communication platform and an attraction all in one; a multimedia site for experiencing our brand. “In the coming years, ŠKODA will grow across the world. When you overtake others, you must look in the rear-view mirror regularly. This is what we are doing with the new museum and its historic location, and we are doing it in a fascinating way.
