The new Ssangyong Korando goes on sale in Spain from €17,750
Following its unveiling at the recent Geneva Motor Show, the new Ssangyong Korando goes on sale in Spain with very attractive prices

At the recent Geneva Motor Show, Ssangyong unveiled the latest evolution of the Korando, one of its most successful SUVs. It is no coincidence that they present a product with a value for money and equipment ratio that is hard for the competition to match, and this evolution may be even more apparent, since the new Korando brings the latest technological advances together with a more refined and streamlined design.
The new Ssangyong Korando will finally reach the Spanish market in the coming days. It is worth noting that it will first arrive with an automatic gearbox and 4×4 traction for both its diesel and petrol engines, while the variants with a manual gearbox will follow in the coming weeks. In addition, the new Korando generally uses Ssangyong’s modular platform and comes as standard with driver assistance safety systems Ssangyong SASS, which has also helped it earn the pride of a five-star Euro NCAP rating.

The new Ssangyong Korando will be offered in four different trim levels. The Line trim is the entry point to the range. In this trim you can only fit the 1.5 GDI petrol engine, which delivers 163 CV and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Standard equipment includes:
- 6 airbags.
- Cruise control.
- Tyre pressure sensor.
- Electrically adjustable, heated and folding mirrors.
- Leather multifunction steering wheel.
- Manual air conditioning.
- Light and rain sensors.
- LED daytime running, position, brake and interior lights.
Prices for this Line start at €17,750, including dealer discount and financing.

The next trim up the Korando scale is called Urban, which adds the following to the equipment listed above:
- 8-inch infotainment system with rear-view camera and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
- Dual-zone air conditioning.
- Double-height boot.
- Front fog lights with LED lighting.
- Tinted rear windows.
- Roof rails.
For the Urban trim, you can choose between the petrol engine described above with the manual gearbox from €19,900, or with the six-speed automatic gearbox from €23,000. If you opt for the 1.6 diesel engine with 136 CV and a manual gearbox, prices start at €24,600. Both engines are only available with front-wheel drive.

The next trim is called Premium, where we start to find more distinctive and interesting equipment, including items such as:
- 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.
- 18-inch two-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels.
- Fabric seats with faux-leather trim.
- Front armrest with built-in cup holder.
- Automatic anti-glare interior rear-view mirror.
In this Premium trim, both engines, diesel and petrol, are front-wheel drive and will be available from €23,500 and €21,800 respectively.

Finally, we reach the top trim, called Limited, which sits at the top of the range of the new Ssangyong Korando. This trim level adds the following equipment:
- Front light unit with LED lights.
- Leather seats.
- Sunroof.
- Keyless entry and start.
- Front and rear parking sensors.
- Electric parking brake.
In the Limited trim, both engines are available with front-wheel drive and a manual gearbox, with starting prices of €24,900 for the petrol and €26,750 for the diesel. Optionally, both engines can be fitted with the automatic gearbox and selectable four-wheel drive with a lock function, in which case the price rises to €28,900 for the petrol and €30,750 for the diesel.
