The new Volkswagen Caddy Edition 35 arrives to make life easier for self-employed workers

It is not exactly one of the most attractive models from the German brand, but it is one of the small vans that sells best in the European market. So the launch of the Volkswagen Caddy Edition 35 deserves a separate paragraph in any roundup of automotive news. This new variant will be presented at the end of this month in Hannover, as part of the commercial vehicles exhibition.

This new variant has elements that set it apart from the rest of the range and make it something special. We start with the exterior, with a black roof. This color is repeated in the roof bars, the side trim and the 17-inch wheels. All of this gives it a sportier and more attractive look that lends it its own personality.

The interior also receives distinctive treatment, with a series of elements that create a different look. The leather upholstery has contrasting stitching in a different color for more visible contrast. The multifunction steering wheel has the automatic gearbox paddles integrated into it. In addition, it features an optional equipment package that includes folding external mirrors, LED lights and the infotainment system.

This new version, like the others, will be sold as a panel van and as a passenger version. At the Hannover show the version of the Volkswagen Caddy powered by natural gas will also be on display, the TGI version, a bet on a variant with fewer polluting emissions. The Caddy Edition 35 will be available with 13 different engine options.

We know the prices this version will have in Germany, which will not be much different from what we will have in Spain. The panel van version will cost 22,312 euros, while the passenger version will cost 26,721 euros. The natural gas version will be priced at 24,859 euros and will be available within a few weeks.
