The Nissan GT-R SpecV will arrive in Europe

Nissan has announced that it will sell in Europe the latest evolution of its GT-R supercar, the SpecV version. Only 40 units will arrive in Europe and they will be sold exclusively at the Nissan High Performance Centres. Purchases will be made by reservation and will close on 15 December.
The 40 units for Europe are a nod to the 40th anniversary, celebrated in 2009, of the first Nissan to carry the GT-R logo. Such a small number underlines the super-exclusive character of the model. Developed as the latest evolution of the model, the SpecV version is based on the original GT-R but incorporates a series of changes and improvements to key components that define the philosophy of the SpecV.
In addition to incorporating all the improvements recently announced for the 2010 GT-R models, the changes made to the SpecV allow for more forceful and later braking, greater cornering speed and greater acceleration, that is, the version is designed solely and exclusively for expert drivers seeking the perfect union between machine and man.
Thanks to the new engine management software, the GT-R’s performance increases, achieving greater torque with the same power. Braking and stability have also been improved thanks to the incorporation of a new carbon-ceramic brake system developed jointly by Nissan and Brembo, new fixed-rate springs and dampers, as well as a new titanium exhaust system that also contributes to improved performance.
What is most characteristic of the SpecV are its forged aluminium wheels, similar to those used in competition, which were developed exclusively for this model by NISMO (Nissan Motorsports International). In addition to fitting a new rear spoiler, the exterior package is completed with a new front grille and air intakes that also provide better brake cooling.
The price for the Spanish market of the GT-R SpecV has been set at €165,990 and it can be purchased at the High Performance Centres located in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Málaga and Las Palmas.
