The arrival of Omoda and Jaecoo in Europe was quite modest, but after several months, they established themselves as important brands and with significant growth in the European market. The celebration of OMODA Dream Day confirms that the company intends to keep growing and that many new developments are coming in the months ahead.

One of the highlights of this event was the presentation of the OMODA 4 Ultra. This is the most powerful version of the model, based on the Cyber Mecha design language. The SUV has a more aerodynamic look, with better materials and advanced connectivity.

The target audience for this model is young drivers looking for an option that combines style, innovation and all the excitement behind the wheel that this SUV offers. The OMODA Dream Day event gives a preview of OMODA’s and Jaecoo’s plans for the coming years. It is worth noting that the OMODA 4 Ultra was designed thanks to the brand’s policy of actively listening to its users, which is quite important for meeting customers’ expectations.

This model also introduces a new artificial intelligence platform applied to the car. With this system, the vehicle can communicate effectively with the driver and personalise functions to suit the owner’s needs and tastes.

An evolution of the original model

Although the OMODA 4 is recognisable in this variant, changes have been made to make it even more interesting. It sits lower, which allows for more dynamic driving. The front splitter, together with the large rear spoiler, enhance its aerodynamic behaviour and make it more appealing. The mirrors have received a carbon-fibre finish that enhances its look, along with the Ultra Yellow colour, a shade that changes with the light and gives a more dynamic appearance.

As for the engine, the version presented in China offers a combustion engine together with an electric motor. Working in combination, both deliver a top speed of 179 km/h. The chassis was developed alongside European engineers to achieve more efficient stability and control, thanks to a new suspension.

As for technology, the OMODA 4 Ultra introduces the Super Easy Pilot virtual assistant, which incorporates several advanced sensors that can identify hazards on the road and help the driver travel safely. It can operate in 18 parking scenarios and manages up to 16 ADAS functions that enable Level 2 autonomous driving.

The cabin offers full connectivity and a complete experience for the occupants, including gaming applications. The technology is there for the enjoyment of the occupants and to deliver a better on-board experience in the SUV.
