The price of the BMW i3 will be 35,500 euros

A week ago, our colleague David revealed all the official information about the upcoming BMW i3, which will be unveiled simultaneously on July 29 in three world capitals -London, New York and Beijing-. And now we know the price and the financing available for the BMW i3.
The German brand’s first electric model will cost 35,500 euros, although a financing plan from 399 euros per month will be available. This price includes the batteries, which come with a warranty of up to 8 years or 100,000 km.
The BMW i3 will have a range of up to 200 km, with interesting performance figures, such as 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, thanks to the instant torque delivery. The range can be extended to 300 km with the “range extender”, a small combustion engine that generates energy for the batteries.
For those who opt for financing, a down payment of 7,854.06 euros will be required, along with 35 instalments of 399 euros and a final payment of 17,900.50 euros, which means the final price comes close to 40,000 euros.
