The return of the mighty Group B
The famous rally Group B cars will have their own summer competition in Great Britain, at the Oulton Park circuit.

The Group B cars, those marvellous but dangerous rally cars of the 1980s, will once again have their own competition, thanks to the initiative of several rally clubs in Great Britain, who have decided to hold a event at Oulton Park, which will also feature an exhibition of an important part of rally history.
The competition will take place on country roads through the British countryside. But the Group B cars will not be the only ones to receive their due tribute, as there will also be an event featuring cars from the Group A and WRC classes, right inside the circuit.
Let us remember that Group B delighted enthusiasts with the most spectacular cars in rally history, reaching the most power (more than 500 horsepower), but also the least safe. During the 1986 Tour de Corse, Henri Toivinen and Sergio Cresto suffered a fatal accident that marked the end of Group B.
