The Revenge Verde Supercar, the latest design from Revenge Design

For those with a good memory, at the end of 2008 we reported that an unknown American design firm, Revenge Design, would present a self-designed “supercar” with a 650-horsepower engine at last year’s NAIAS.
This year, Revenge is back in the fray and shows us the first teaser, ahead of the Detroit show, of a curious concept called the Verde Supercar. It is a V8/electric hybrid of around 400 horsepower that delivers quite good fuel economy, despite being labelled a supercar: 2.14 litres per 100 kilometres.
This time, Revenge’s ambitions will not stop at the unveiling of the model and the obligatory photos. There are plans to start selling it from July, with a final price of around 180,000 dollars for the North American market.
The Revenge Verde will be presented next Monday at the NAIAS, while its renders are published in the latest issue of duPont Registry, to see whether this way it attracts the attention of millionaires.
