The Rolls-Royce Spectre has already been officially unveiled

The electric model from Rolls-Royce has already been the subject of several earlier reports, but it has now been officially unveiled, with a video.

Rolls Royce Spectre Electrico (19)

For several months we have been reading information about the Rolls-Royce Spectre, the brand’s first electric model, but it is now that the manufacturer of the most exclusive cars in the world has officially presented its luxury electric car. The design of the Spectre is inspired by the brand’s older two-door models, the Wraith and the Phantom, but updated and brought into the electric world.

Aesthetically, it is equipped with the widest grille ever used on a Rolls, which is illuminated by 22 LED diodes, so it is very visually striking. At the front it has LED DRL headlights, which complement the main headlights, located beneath them. The iconic Spirit of Ecstasy has also been updated to offer a more modern, sporty and attractive image.

Another feature visible in the shapes of this model is something quite common in several Rolls-Royce models. The shape of a boat can be discerned in those of the model, so it is as elegant as one would expect from a car of this brand. The wheels also stand out, the largest that a Rolls-Royce has used in 100 years, reaching 23 inches.

It offers a wheelbase of 3,210 millimetres and weighs a total of 2,975 kg. It is built on an aeronautical-grade aluminium structure that includes battery protection. This chassis gives it 30% more rigidity than any other model of the brand, which benefits the vehicle’s handling.

As for power, the Rolls-Royce Spectre is known to offer a total of 585 CV and a maximum torque of 900 Nm. These figures allow an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. As for the battery, its exact capacity is not known. What is known is that it will weigh around 700 kg and offer a range of up to 520 kilometres on the WLTP cycle.

Inside, luxury is present and very similar to other current models of the brand. The difference is a screen for the front passenger, and the LED ceiling lights extend across the interior door panels.
