The Safrane returns to Mexico

The new Renault Safrane has been resurrected, but only the name: the rest of the vehicle has little to do with the legendary model from the French brand that for years was the flagship of Renault.
The new Renault Safrane has been presented in Mexico, and it is based on the Samsung SM5 that was unveiled last year. The Safrane will only be sold in Latin America and will be manufactured by Renault’s South Korean subsidiary.
The Renault Safrane is available for the Mexican market equipped with a 2.3-litre petrol engine producing 170 CV, paired with a five-speed automatic gearbox. There is only one version, and its standout equipment includes: automatic climate control, alloy wheels, multiple airbags, ESP, ABS + EBD, power pack, leather upholstery, audio system, trip computer, parking sensor, electric sunroof, and light and rain sensor.
The price in Mexico is 285,000 pesos (15,322 euros at current exchange rates), which is undoubtedly a very competitive price.
