The sale of the Audi RS6 Avant begins in Spain

Audi is putting the Audi R6 Avant on sale in its Spanish dealer network at a final price of around 129,100 euros. The first reservations can be made by the brand’s customers from this April onwards, although the units will not be delivered until June.

The Audi R6 Avant is aimed at those who seek the comfort and roominess of an estate without giving up the driving pleasure and fun of a sports model. Developed by quattro GmbH, it combines an elegant style with high performance and exclusivity.

It is equipped with the powerful V8 TFSI engine producing 560 CV, which allows the R6 Avant to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h. If the customer wishes, however, they can add the optional dynamic package, which raises the top speed to 280 km/h, and if that is still not enough, the dynamic plus package increases it to 305 km/h.

On the other hand, fuel consumption has been reduced thanks to weight reduction, the new eight-speed tiptronic gearbox and the Start-Stop system. The reduction is 40% compared with the previous generation, with combined-cycle consumption of 9.8 litres per 100 kilometres. Compared with the conventional versions, the R6 Avant reduces its ride height by 20 mm and adds air suspension with adjustable damping.

For our country, the standard equipment includes LED light units, RS sports seats, a rear-view camera, MMI navigation plus, Audi sound system with ten speakers, or a fuel tank enlarged to 75 litres. Among the optional equipment, the head-up display, which projects information onto the windscreen, stands out, as does the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System with 15 speakers.
