The ŠKODA Karoq sets off on a journey to its unveiling in Stockholm this afternoon
The ŠKODA Karoq will be unveiled in Stockholm, and to get there, this camouflaged model, though already production-ready, will travel by road

We’re counting down the hours until the unveiling of the new ŠKODA Karoq. It will take place on the evening of 18 May in Stockholm, so it won’t be long before we get to see a good number of images of this long-awaited crossover from the Czech brand. Time is running out, but we’re still eager to learn more about this car before that moment arrives. For now, let’s watch a video that shows it to us, but in camouflage.
The reason for this video, which aims to make our mouths water a little before the presentation, is the journey it began to be in the right place at the scheduled time for its public debut. It is a 1,500-kilometre trip that starts from its birthplace, Mlada Boleslav, in the Czech Republic, and ends at Stockholm.

The car that is set to replace the ŠKODA Yeti will be ready to reach the brand’s dealerships during the second half of the year. We assume that from the presentation onwards we will have all the information about the model. We already know some of its main features, such as the engines it will be equipped with.
Buyers will have five different engines available, two petrol and three diesel, with displacements ranging from 1.0 to 2.0 litres. In its top configuration, it will produce 187 CV. In addition, they can be paired with a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox, which helps achieve better performance from the model. The 2.0 TDI version, the range-topper, can also come with all-wheel drive and will include, depending on the trim level, a special driving mode for particularly difficult terrain.
We just have to wait for the presentation of the ŠKODA Karoq, but in the meantime, here is the video in which the car begins its journey across Europe. What do you think of this compact SUV like this, in motion?
