The Škoda Kodiaq will bow out with the Last Edition restructuring of its range
Ahead of the second generation’s arrival, the current Škoda Kodiaq announces the Last Edition restructuring of its range as a farewell

Just a few days ago Škoda unveiled what will be the second generation of the Kodiaq after several weeks of teasers of both its exterior and interior design, a generation that will arrive in the coming months in the various markets where, in the meantime, the current generation of the Kodiaq will of course continue to be sold.
Launched in 2016, this Czech brand SUV has since accumulated nearly fifty international awards, and it has become Škoda’s second best-selling SUV with more than 841,000 units built. Škoda wants to see these numbers rise even further before the second generation reaches dealerships, which is why the current Kodiaq’s sales offer is being reworked into the new Last Edition structure for a few months.

This means that if we opt for a Škoda Kodiaq now, we will find the four trims Ambition, Style, Sportline and RS fully updated, including a more generous and interesting standard equipment list even from the most basic trim, the Ambition, where we will find items such as the following:
- 18-inch alloy wheels
- LED rear lights
- Body-coloured mouldings
- Leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel
- Front Assist
- City Emergency Braking
- Adaptive cruise control
- Multiple airbags
- Lumbar support for the front seats
- Central locking with “Keyless-Go”
- Climatronic
- Reversing camera
- Rain and light sensor
- Tyre pressure monitoring
- DAB digital radio
- Coming Home and manual Leaving Home function
- Bolero radio
- Cloth upholstery
- Front USB ports

The second trim, called Style, adds to the above items such as the following:
- 18-inch “Elbrus” alloy wheels
- Chrome pack
- Remote access + Online Infotainment
- 12-volt sockets
- Extended and anticipatory pedestrian protection measures
- Interior mirror with automatic anti-dazzle adjustment
- Longitudinal roof bars
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Central locking with “Keyless-Entry”
- Heated front seats
- Multifunction camera
- Traffic sign recognition
- Floor-level interior lights
- Matrix Beam front headlights
- Amundsen navigation + online radio
- Virtual Cockpit

If we want to give the Kodiaq a sportier touch, we will have to move up a level, specifically to the Sportline trim, which adds to the previous one items such as the following:
- 19-inch Triglav alloy wheels
- Black exterior inserts
- Sport bumper
- Sport comfort front seats
- Carbon interior inserts
- Decorative sill trims
- Black longitudinal roof bars
- Driver’s seat with electric adjustment

The last trim for the Kodiaq, called RS, goes a step further in terms of sportiness and adds to the previous one items such as the following:
- 20-inch alloy wheels
- RS bumper
- Passenger seat with electric adjustment
- Hydraulic damping

The first generation of the Škoda Kodiaq will also bow out with a restructuring of its engine line-up, now made up of the 1.5 TSI petrol with 150 CV (available for the Ambition, Style and Sportline trims) and, on the other hand, the 2.0 TDI diesel with 200 CV (for the Style and Sportline trims). In addition, the more powerful option corresponding to the 2.0 TSI with 245 CV is only available for the RS trim. Note that all engines will be paired with a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
