The sports coupe of Subaru could debut next year

According to recent network reports, the cooperation between Toyota and Subaru will deliver medium-term results for both companies, as the president of Fuji Heavy Industries (parent company of Subaru) stated in an interview that both manufacturers will launch their sports coupe jointly during the last quarter of 2011.
Mori Ikuo mentioned that the design team is refining the final details, and the performance tests are almost complete; he even indicates that the sports car will be characterized by its level of consumption, comfort and low centre of gravity, so the car will meet consumers’ expectations.
On the other hand, let’s recall that to some extent the presentation of the FT-86 was confirmed, however this is the first time concrete clues have been offered about the production of its twin brother, although no relevant details are yet revealed about the mechanics or design.
