The superbike inspired by the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro
Some orders have already been placed for the new limited-edition AMB 001 Pro, which will reach the market in 2023.

Aston Martin and Brough Superior raise the intensity with the unveiling of the AMB 001 Pro, a visceral 997 cc superbike built exclusively for the track, inspired by the unmatched Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro hypercar, and presented at the Milan Motorcycle Show.
The AMB 001 Pro, a limited edition, is the latest design collaboration between the two brands, combining the legendary design of Aston Martin with the cutting-edge engineering of the Brough Superior motorcycle. Offered in a single Pro specification, the successor to the sold-out AMB 001 is inspired by the unrestricted track hypercar Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro. Like its inspiration, the AMB 001 Pro takes track performance to the extreme, delivering a 25% power increase over its predecessor, with its 225 CV producing a power-to-weight ratio of 1.28 CV/kg, similar to that of a Formula 1 car.

Thierry Henriette, Managing Director of Brough Superior, noted that “we are very pleased to reveal the AMB 001 Pro at EICMA today. The success of its predecessor, together with the incredible Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro, has inspired us to come together again to create a new superbike, one that we know will excite our customers. We are especially proud of the new engine type, with a crankcase fully machined from solid billet aluminium, a unique feature for a production motorcycle. With the remarkable increase in power, the AMB 001 Pro enters the hypermotorcycle segment.”
For his part, Marek Reichman, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin, stated that “it is a wonderfully simple formula. More technology equals performance. When you push something to the limit of its capability, and do it effortlessly, the resulting experience can take your breath away. There is no separation between the advanced materials, the design and the technical capabilities of the motorcycle. We have achieved this fluidity once again with the Brough Superior for those who want a track superbike like no other. The rider becomes part of this sculpture in motion and will literally feel as if they are part of the track when they climb aboard the AMB 001 Pro.”

It was at EICMA that the AMB 001 was unveiled, the first Aston Martin motorcycle of 2019. The union of Aston Martin and Brough Superior, two iconic and historic British performance brands, gave rise to a unique sports motorcycle that is modern, lightweight and powerful, limited to just 100 units and already completely sold out. The new AMB 001 Pro builds on the lessons of the AMB 001 and takes track excitement to the extreme. The power increase comes from a new CNC-machined 997 cc twin-cylinder engine, completely machined from a solid AL 5000 billet. The ideal properties of the material improve the stiffness of the structural engine, while a new wet-liner cylinder design helps to improve cooling.
The first orders have already been placed for the strictly limited AMB 001 Pro edition, which will be hand-built at the Brough Superior factory in Toulouse, France. The first deliveries will take place in the fourth quarter of 2023.
