The Suzuki Swift R Concept will be presented in Beijing

The Japanese compact enjoys great popularity in the land of the rising sun and in the old continent, so it is no surprise that Suzuki wants to increase consumer interest by presenting a new concept.
The Japanese manufacturer notes that the design of the so-called Suzuki Swift R Concept was inspired by the GSX-R sports motorcycle series; therefore, its look is expected to stand out thanks to an aggressive aerodynamic package and high-performance wheels, which will be fitted with modified tyres that will give the compact a lower stance.
As you can imagine, the official specifications have not yet been published, but under the bonnet a 1.4-litre turbo engine producing 180 CV is expected, power that will be sent to the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission system.
On the other hand, the company will use the Beijing Motor Show (an event held in April next year) to boost sales of the car in the largest automotive market in the world, where the Swift has yet to establish itself.
