The Tesla Cybertruck pickup has already surpassed 200,000 reservations
Reservations for the Tesla Cybertruck are skyrocketing, the fever for the pickup seems to have no limits
The weekend was neither an excuse nor a reason for the craze over the new model from the company led by Elon Musk to fall short of any forecast.
The craze for Tesla cars seems only to keep growing, and the Cybertruck has proven it with the number of reservations it has already achieved.
Although, as our sister site Drivingeco.com already reported, within 48 hours of its unveiling, reservations for the Tesla Cybertruck had reached a staggering 146,000 requests, to date the company’s guru himself has announced that this figure is already in the past.

200,000 reservations for the Tesla Cybertruck
As if it were the latest must-have mobile phone, the fan frenzy around the products of Tesla seems to come from the deepest part of a mine of precious metals or stones.
Although, it is true that, to a certain extent, the price of the Tesla Cybertruck met the premise that Elon Musk himself stated, and not only would it not exceed $50,000 in its most modest version, but from $39,900 onwards, requests have grown in a mix of menthol candies and cola, the most requested being the variant between the cheapest and the most expensive Tesla Cybertruck.
The fact that there is almost $30,000 difference between the entry-level Tesla Cybertruck and the top-of-the-range model stems from its mechanical configuration.
Even so, based on reservations, most interested buyers think the Tesla Cybertruck Dual Motor AWD version better suits their needs or lifestyle, followed by the Tesla Cybertruck Tri-Motor AWD and, finally, a minority by the Tesla Cybertruck Single Motor RWD, despite being the cheapest version.
Partly, the success of the reservations for the Tesla Cybertruck comes from the amount required to place a request for one of the first units, or at least to be one of the first 200,000 interested buyers to get one of these futuristic electric pickups.
Just $100 deposited is required to submit the request, unlike the $1,000 requested to do the same with the Tesla Model 3, and although the deposit for the reservation was 10 times higher than for the latest vehicle, the compact saloon still managed 180,000 requests in just one day.
Now we can expect how many of these supposed interested buyers will give up on the hundred dollars once the excitement over a car that has a great pull fades, and not only in terms of future sales.
