The Twingo Gordini range gets a new engine

The Renault Twingo Gordini was until now only available with a 1.6 petrol engine with 16 valves and 133 CV as its sole option. The French brand has decided to expand the Gordini range with the introduction of a lower-powered engine.
The entry-level Gordini will feature a also petrol, 1.2 TCe engine with a maximum output of 100 CV. In France, orders for this variant can already be placed , which has a starting price of €14,800.

Among the exterior design features, the white longitudinal stripes running along the entire bodywork, the 15-inch alloy wheels (the top-of-the-range version has 17-inch wheels), the tinted glass and the “Gordini” badges stand out.
Inside, blue and black are combined on the seats, door panels, steering wheel, gear lever and rev counter. The seat upholstery is fabric and leather, and the word “Gordini” is embossed on the backrests.

Another interesting feature is the 80 W sound system (capable of playing CDs and MP3s, controlled by buttons located behind the steering wheel, and with Bluetooth connectivity), cruise control and a split-folding rear seat with headrests included.
