The ultimate tuning nonsense: Audi "R8 sedan"

What could be going through the head of someone who prefers to ruin a beautiful car, turning it into something utterly contemptible? Because there are plenty of converted, disguised or customised cars (call them whatever you like), but this one has really gone too far. If you still haven’t guessed, this car is meant to be an Audi R8 sedan and is the work of some unscrupulous person, not the design department of Audi, nor even a test mule “to see what happens”. Now we can finally breathe a sigh of relief…

Apparently they took an Audi 2001 A8, changed its front end and fitted it with a bodykit that is as exaggerated as it is ridiculous. This car was spotted in Canada and is the work of a well-known local coachbuilder who seems to be quite renowned in the modification scene.

And no, this is not a nightmare, but a real car, as the photos I’ve included below show. I just hope Audi takes this into account and places a big prohibition sign over each of the photos, should they ever decide to make a sedan version of the R8.
