The Volkswagen Up! 4-door is here

The 4-door version of the Volkswagen Up! has been presented in Spain

Following the launch of the new up! at the end of last year, Volkswagen takes things a step further by offering a four-door variant of this model, giving this city car even more versatility at an affordable price premium: the 4-door version costs 425 euros more than the 2-door version, with few aesthetic differences from its two-door sibling.

The only real novelty of this Up! is its 4-door configuration; apart from that, the vehicle is similar to the 2-door. The lower window line, which on the 2-door extends upwards, is straight on the 4-door. The front and rear ends of both body versions are identical.

The rear and front both bear a strong resemblance to the 2-door, and in terms of cargo capacity with the rear seats folded, it is generous, expanding up to 951 litres. Interior passenger space has been optimised as much as possible, with good headroom despite rear-seat passengers sitting higher than the driver and front passenger.

The recommended prices (as of 15 June) for the 4-door versions of the Up! for the Spanish market will be as follows:
