Volkswagen has announced the launch of a new R-Line sports package for two of its most popular models, the Golf Variant and the Scirocco.

Both are already available at dealerships in Germany, so these options are expected to reach other countries within a matter of days.

Starting with the Golf Variant, the front features a bumper that is much more aggressive than usual, thanks to more prominent and wider air intakes. This package also includes side skirts, as well as a newly designed rear bumper.

A diffuser painted in gloss black reveals the exhaust outlets, while it pairs with the rear lights, which are darker in this trim, giving the whole car a more sporty and modern touch.
The alloy wheels are the “Salvador” design, measuring 18 inches.

The Golf Variant can also be fitted with a new R-Line interior package that includes, among other things, sports seats, a sports steering wheel trimmed in leather, or metal pedals. In addition, you can add an extra touch of sportiness by ordering the “R-Line Sports Package“, which adds sport suspension, progressive power steering and tinted windows.

Looking at the VW Scirocco, the exterior follows the same approach as the Golf Variant, with more sporty front and rear bumpers, side skirts and 18″ “Salvador” alloy wheels, plus a small spoiler.

The interior offers sports seats and steering wheel, upholstered in leather and Alcantara, as well as “Carbon Touch” trim and “Piano Black” glossy black accents. Metal-finish pedals and “R-Line” logos on the seats and steering wheel are also featured in this trim.
