These are the keys to the Tesla Model 3
During the presentation of the Model 3 held last Friday, Elon Musk revealed all the details of his electric saloon.
The Tesla Model 3 is finally here, and it is probably one of the most important launches in automotive history. With more than half a million reservations it has become the most sought-after vehicle of all time, and although its production rate is going to be lower than expected, we now officially know all of its details.

The final version of the Tesla Model 3 has changed very little compared with the first prototypes of the electric model. We are talking about a five-door saloon measuring 4.69 metres long, 1.85 metres wide and 1.44 metres high; dimensions quite similar to those of the BMW 3 Series, a model that will also offer an electric version to compete with the Model 3 from Tesla. The Model 3’s boot will have a capacity of 425 litres. Inside, it will feature the famous 15-inch high-resolution screen that unfolds as part of the infotainment system. This display will offer features such as Google Maps, WiFi and very detailed trip information.

As we had already anticipated, the Tesla Model 3 will offer up to 500 km of range and will come in two different versions. The first of these, the standard, will offer a range of 354 kilometres, a top speed of 209 km/h, an acceleration of 5.6 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and a price of $35,000 (€29,800). For an extra $9,000 (€44,000), you can also buy the Model 3 with a whopping 500 km of range, a top speed of 225 km/h and an acceleration improved by half a second (5.1 seconds).

The price of the Tesla Model 3 in Spain has not yet been announced, although it is expected to not exceed €40,000 in its entry-level version. If it is still in force when it arrives in our country, the MOVEA Plan should sweeten the final price of the American model; an aid that currently amounts to up to €5,500.

The hardware needed to install the Autopilot system is present in every Model 3, although to use this feature you will have to pay an additional $5,000. With Autopilot engaged, the electric saloon drives itself on the motorway, changes lanes and even parks autonomously.
