Sometimes people’s reactions are surprising, very surprising indeed, and in this case I think the reason for the reaction is that the person in question has more money than they know what to do with. The photos we show you are of an accident that happened on 28 October 2005, at around 17:30, in Fremont, California. A mechanic was carrying out a test on a 2001 Lamborghini Diablo 6.0, when, for reasons unknown, he lost control, mounted the pavement and crashed into a wall.

The owner’s reaction is crazy, because the normal thing would be to throw a fit on seeing his car wrecked, but instead his reaction was extremely cool and calm, and he even joked at the scene of the accident. On seeing a curious onlooker taking photos, he asked to be included in one of them.

Another model on the scrap heap, headed straight for the breaker’s yard. A shame, but it’s something that sadly happens.
