This 360º drifting video on a mountain pass will be the best thing you watch today
This drifting race, recorded with a 360º camera, lets you watch the sequence from every angle between a Nissan PS13 and an BMW E36 Compact

A film company called ODOXO had the brilliant idea of mounting a 360-degree camera on a Nissan S13 prepared for drifting. On its own, that would be reason enough to rush off and watch the video, but add the fact that the sequence was filmed on a mountain pass in the purest Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift style, and you get a spectacular piece of video.
In the sequence we can see a swarm of BMW and Nissan cars that had gathered for this drifting event. The onboard camera is installed in a Nissan PS13 that houses an RB25 engine (from a Skyline), a turbocharged six-cylinder inline unit producing 550 CV. The driver of this car, Jack Shenahan, competes against an BMW E36 Compact with 581 CV in a battle where what matters most is not who finishes first, but who burns more rubber and puts on more of a show.
Thanks to the onboard camera’s 360 view, you can watch the sequence from every angle you can imagine. A new way of watching drifting that is truly striking, although we may miss a 360 image of the cabin interior, since everyone likes to see the spectacular hand movements of a drift driver. What a shame!
