Liberty Walk specialists have created a body kit for the Nissan GT-R that turns it into an absolute madness and costs the same as a good used example

A few years have passed since all motoring fans went crazy over the “Fast & Furious” saga and headed to the nearest Norauto to buy new “sporty” bumpers and a few stickers to change the look of our cars for a few euros.

Thankfully, that dark era of the most extravagant tuning is over, so the Citroën Xsaras with Peugeot 206 headlights, gull-wing doors and fibreglass underbody kits have disappeared from the streets.

However, what has also disappeared is the possibility of changing the look of your car for a few euros, and even more so if you have in your garage a supercar of the calibre of the Nissan GT-R.

Liberty Walk is a specialist in getting the maximum out of the cars it works on, which is why at the beginning of the year we saw its interpretation of the Suzuki Jimny, turning it into a mini Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

The tuner has now launched the LB-Silhouette Works GT 35GT-RR or, to put it plainly, a body kit that turns the Nissan GT-R into a machine with which you won’t be able to pass through any narrow street without taking the mirrors off parked cars. Certainly nothing like some modifications such as the one Hennessey presented a few months ago for the Porsche Taycan.

This is available in several materials, although the most interesting thing is that if you choose it in carbon fibre, the price is 65,000 euros. The most curious fact is that for that price you can find used Nissan GT-R units in perfect condition with low mileage, madness, right?

In addition, for this body kit to fit properly, Liberty Walk requires the installation of an air suspension system for 7,000 euros. This suspension makes the car so low that it could run over a cigarette paper, but it will most likely harm its dynamic behaviour: to look good, you have to suffer.

To achieve the spectacular final image we can see in the closing gallery, Liberty Walk also offers multi-spoke wheels with a huge lip fitted with Advan tyres. However, the tuner never gets involved in the mechanical side, although more than one specialist workshop would be delighted to work on an engine as tunable as the one in the Nissan GT-R.

So, if you have a Nissan GT-R, want your partner to throw you out of the house and your photo to appear on the blacklist of your city’s MOT centres, don’t hesitate to get the Liberty Walk body kit.
