This is the Art Machine Ælla-60, a restomod of a Ferrari 360 Modena with a 1960s look

This supercar model has a design that harks back to the 1960s, but it is based on a 1999 Ferrari and far surpasses the original model.

Some cars are destined to become legendary within the industry. Something within reach of very few, but which offers remarkable technology in a notable vehicle. This is the case of the Art Machine Ælla-60, a vehicle created by Anthony Jannarelly. Carterham’s chief designer also builds spectacular vehicles, designed to surprise.

This model is based on the Ferrari 360 Modena, which was sold between 1999 and 2005. A vehicle that has been brought into the 21st century in terms of technology, but with the visual appearance and impact that this car offered at the time. The combination of that vintage style, which evokes the 1960s, and current touches make it a vehicle designed to surprise and deliver impressive experiences when its owner sits behind the wheel.

In terms of styling, we find large wheel arches together with butterfly doors and LED lighting clusters. All of this gives a slight nod to the Jannarelly Design-1, a design created earlier that showed Jannarelly had a lot to say in the world of supercar design.

The aluminium chassis of the Ferrari 360 Modena serves as the basis for this supercar, so it weighs just 1,130 kg. The engine that brings it to life is the same one used by that model, a 3.6-litre V8 block that delivers 480 CV instead of the 400 CV offered by the model it is based on. The manual gearbox sends the power to the rear wheels.

Inside, work has been done to make a difference. Modern materials have been introduced to offer greater comfort to the occupants. The seats are made of carbon fibre and offer plenty of comfort. The onboard technology makes it easier to handle and offers connectivity with smartphones.

The gearbox, in addition, shows off its entire gear set to give it a more attractive look. The steering wheel has a simple design with three spokes, which helps keep the interior look quite clean.

As for availability, only 60 units of the Art Machine Ælla-60 are planned. But be warned: production will only start if five initial orders are registered. To enjoy one of these cars, you will have to pay 865,000 euros before taxes. A rather tempting sum to pay for a car that, while not unique, will not be seen on the streets very often.
