This is the Citroën Holidays, a modern camper vehicle with a vintage aesthetic

Camper vans remain an option that many people choose as a leisure vehicle. The major brands know this and are preparing new models that want to find a place in the tastes of enthusiasts of this type of vehicle. Citroën has just presented a camper van that will not only offer the equipment needed to spend a great holiday on board, but also surprises with its look, very vintage.

The basis of the Citroën Holidays is the SpaceTourer, but the French brand has wanted to give it a more classic image. Its look pays homage to a Citroën classic, the Type H, marketed from 1948 onwards. This image has been achieved by the Slovenian company Bravia, which is in charge of working on the base model to create this spectacular and attractive van.

The panels that recreate the design of the Type H are fixed onto the structure of the SpaceTourer and make up the look of the vehicle. But that vintage image does not go hand in hand with its equipment, which is very complete and will allow users to enjoy several days of camping on board the van.

Among what it offers, the pop-up roof with a mattress stands out so that two people can sleep, an interior unit with a sink, kitchen and fridge. It has air conditioning that keeps you comfortable, several storage spaces and an outdoor shower. The front seats can be turned to face the rear and the rear seats can be folded down to turn them into a comfortable bed.

It also has, of course, tanks for clean water and grey water. As for engines, it will come in two versions.

Citroën Holidays engines

The first version uses a 145 CV BlueHDI diesel engine, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. Above it there will be an engine, also BlueHDI, with 189 CV of power. In this case, there is a six-speed automatic gearbox. The price of this camper van has not been made public, although it is expected to be around 55,000 euros. That said, there are two equipment levels, so that expected price may vary depending on what is chosen for the vehicle.

It will be available from the month of January 2024 and the first deliveries will take place during May of next year.
