The electric MINI Cooper is announcing several of its features, and now it’s time to take a look at the interior of the car. This model, presented in May, previews the brand’s future electric models that will arrive over the coming years.

All the information about this new electric model can be found at this link, but now it’s time to focus on the cabin. The image lets us see what the instrumentation will look like, the round central screen and the physical controls. Everything has a very austere and light look.

What we can see is that a minimalist, light and understated design has been chosen. It is therefore a very modern design, which does away with the instrument panel behind the steering wheel. This has been replaced by a Head-Up Display, which shows all the driving-related information.

On the central screen of the electric MINI Cooper you can see more information, such as the speed at which the car is moving. This screen also allows control of several vehicle elements. Even so, there are several physical controls that remain on the dashboard. We cannot see what these physical controls operate, but they will carry out their functions efficiently.

The multifunction steering wheel houses several multifunction controls, associated with the vehicle’s ADAS functions, the sound control of the media player and the phone. We have more information about the style of the cabin, since we have seen that the dashboard is covered in grey fabric, which on the passenger side has a completely different design that gives it personality.

When the car starts up, the LED lighting located under the dashboard is activated. This helps create that more personal image of the car and establishes its own aesthetic. On the central circular screen, it lights up with the brand logo, followed by a personalised animation that leads to the controls housed in this device.

The arrival of the electric MINI Cooper is scheduled for November. But, yes, in China. Its arrival in Europe will take a little longer, as it is expected to arrive in early 2024.
