This is what the spectacular BMW M2 CSL would look like

Designer Monholo Oumar has published this image based on a theoretical BMW M2 CSL. If this model never goes into production, something is changing at BMW.

There is only one thing that BMW fans go crazier over than the letter M, and that is the CSL badge. Throughout history, the models carrying that designation have been the most performance-focused and radical road cars from the German brand. Could the BMW M2 receive a CSL version? Only time will tell, but in the meantime we can enjoy this very beautiful take on it.

This BMW M2 CSL is, of course, a recreation, but it must be admitted that, besides having an impressive design, the styling of this hypothetical model is heading in the right direction. The author of this image is French graphic designer Monholo Oumar, a real expert in editing models from the German manufacturer, as can be seen on his Behance profile.

The concept of this image is based on the BMW M2 coupé, a model that, fortunately, does exist and has been very well received since its launch last year. Among the modifications included in this CSL version are much wider wheel arches, stripes in the colours of the German firm’s competition cars, and much more refined aerodynamics; the large rear spoiler stands out, along with several elements finished in carbon fibre that increase downforce.

The interior of this theoretical model has been simplified to the maximum. The rear seats have been removed and replaced with a roll cage, while the front seats are bucket type and fitted with competition harnesses to keep the driver and their single passenger securely strapped in.

The question we all ask is whether BMW will make our dreams come true. The truth is that so far there have been no signs to feed our hopes, but until proven otherwise…
