Top Gear returns at the end of the month
Top Gear, the British show that mixes humour with cars for the first time, returns for its 19th series on 27 January 2013. Only five episodes are expected, making it the shortest series in the show’s history. There is a promotional video.

Top Gear, the most famous programme in the world dedicated to motoring and the four wheels, returns with its 19th series on 27 January 2013. Everything will begin with the Christmas Special, filmed in the United States, where the three ringleaders, James May, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson, drive a Lexus LFA, a Aston Martin Vanquish and the SRT Viper.
To promote the new series, the show’s editing team has decided to create a video which, although it offers no new material from this year, shows the most desperate and devoted fans a host of images from previous series.
It is believed that the off-set footage has already been recorded and completed, while studio filming will begin from 23 January.
Apparently, this will be the shortest series in the show’s history, as it contains only five episodes, with the last one scheduled to air on 24 February.
For the time being, it will only be broadcast on BBC Two. For Spanish viewers, there are still many months to go, not to mention years, before we can watch it in Spanish and on one of our channels. Patience, it will arrive soon enough.
