Topless woman dies after leaning half her body out of the car window

Natalia Borodina, a Russian real estate agent, committed a negligence that ended up costing her life.

Natalia Borodina was a 35-year-old real estate agent living in Cannes, France. A few days ago she traveled to Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) to enjoy a lovely beach holiday with her 8-year-old son and a 32-year-old Ukrainian friend, Ivanna Boirachuk. So far everything seems idyllic, but unfortunately this story does not have a happy ending.

On October 10, Natalia and Boirachuk (her friend) decided to go for a drive without her son, a trip that, according to Dominican authorities, she made under the influence of alcohol and even a psychoactive drug.

Boirachuk was driving the car while she filmed her topless friend sitting in the passenger seat with her phone. In a moment of recklessness, Natalia leaned half her body out of the car, a fatal action that would end up costing her life after she struck her head against a pole along the road they were traveling. The tragic scene was recorded on video by Borodina’s friend, which has undoubtedly led to her arrest, as it became clear she was driving drunk while using her phone at the wheel.

Despite the accident, Borodina arrived alive at the Verón Hospital where, despite the medical care, she died from the serious head injuries she suffered.

Elena Korolyova, a friend of Natalia, came to her defense against the criticism she received for her negligent behavior before her death. “She helped her family in every way, which is very poor. She longed for a better future. But anyone can make a mistake, and she cannot be judged by what is seen in a video,” she said.
