Toyota confirms presentation of the RAV4 EV

The Japanese company has confirmed through its Twitter account that it plans to present a new electric model based on Tesla technology.
Let us recall that a couple of days ago we mentioned that Toyota had prepared two prototypes, one of which was the RAV4; unfortunately we do not have further details about the features of the SUV.
However, we must remember that the CEO of Tesla promised that the Japanese off-roader would be recognised as one of the first high-end electric models in its class, so we will have to wait until the car’s debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show to see the true potential of the proposal.
In the meantime we will have to make do with the information that will be published next month. On another note, we should mention that the Japanese company has announced it plans to introduce the Prius PHV during the second quarter of 2012.
Without a doubt this is a fact that cannot be taken lightly, since the success of its predecessor despite its problems sets an interesting precedent for its arrival.
