Toyota Hilux Invincible: celebrating 46 years

Although few people know the Toyota Hilux models launched before the 1980s, which is when the pickup truck began to gain popularity, the truth is that the first generation was launched in 1968 and will be celebrating 46 years of life. To mark the anniversary, the Toyota Hilux will reach the market with a special edition.
This special edition will be the Invincible, a name more than fitting for celebrating 46 years, as well as the 15 million units sold. The versatile Toyota pickup will come in its commemorative version with two trim levels, Active and Sport. While the first refreshes its look with some chrome accessories, a chrome grille, and the “Invincible” lettering, the Sport adds more chrome decoration, as well as side bars and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Hilux Invincible will be available with two engines to choose from. The well-known 2.5 diesel that equips the model in Spain and another diesel version of 3 liters and 171 hp, with the option of choosing rear-wheel drive, 4×4 drive, or an automatic gearbox.
In terms of styling, it will be available in eight body colors, with single or double cab. It is not yet available; the Invincible model will arrive in Europe in exactly one year, and some units are also expected to reach Spain.
