Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles launches the new Amarok Highline Edition

Since its launch, the Amarok stands out not only for its robustness, safety and reliability, but also for its low consumption and emissions levels, making it the benchmark in this particular segment as the most balanced option. This model has been revolutionised by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles with different versions and uses, now adding an extra touch of quality and comfort with the new Highline Edition version.

The new Highline Edition is aimed at customers looking for greater comfort and quality in this type of vehicle, without affecting its excellent off-road performance. Versatility taken to the extreme, always ready to tackle the most demanding routes, terrain and tasks with the comfort of a higher class.

The Amarok Highline Edition features a 180 hp BlueMotion 2.0 TDI engine with Selectable or Permanent 4Motion all-wheel drive, the latter with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. This makes it a vehicle with a powerful engine and the efficiency provided by BlueMotion technology, standard across the entire range.

Thanks to the new Edition package, the following is added: the RNS315 radio-navigation system, equipped with a 5-inch touchscreen, flash memory, Aux-In input and SD card slot; the “Light and Visibility” package, which includes the practical Coming and Leaving Home functions, as well as automatic lights and wipers, very useful when driving off-road; fog lights with cornering light, which allow more precise driving by illuminating the viewing angles in bends; front and rear Park Pilot parking assistant; as well as electric, foldable and heated exterior mirrors to ensure visibility in any weather condition.

This equipment is completed with high-quality “velours” floor mats, thicker and softer, featuring fixing systems that minimise the possibility of movement.
