Volkswagen Golf VII: a bit sportier in every way

The Volkswagen Golf began its life as a versatile car, from which a sporty hatchback emerged that was a complete success: the Golf GTI. After six generations, the seventh Golf looks set to be sportier in both appearance and spirit.
The idea at Volkswagen is for the Golf to be sportier than ever. The ways to achieve this will be to make it lower, wider and with a driving position that is also lower. Of course, we are talking about the three-door models.
For the other, more civilised models such as the Plus and the five-door, the options are not as visually sporty, since the differentiation between models will be quite profound, according to the company itself at Volkswagen.
Meanwhile, some novelties of the seventh generation will also include a completely new instrument panel and a centre console oriented towards the driver. In addition, a new active steering system, provisionally called mechanical-active, will arrive.
