Volkswagen Sirocco Cup unveiled in China

This is the third racing edition that the German company presents this year and, although its exterior design does not impress as much as the government initiative of the German government, its bright blue colour together with the Chinese characters (which translated mean Volkswagen Cars China) catch the eye.

The car features an aerodynamic kit that includes a spoiler mounted on the rear of the car, a new exhaust system and air intakes in the front grille.

The technical details of the Cup model have not yet been revealed, but it is expected to use the 2.0L ETI engine with 200 CV coupled to a six-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox. The interior has been fitted with sports seats, a roll cage and a fire extinguishing system. Images after the jump.
