Volvo C30 R-Design: only 400 units for the US

It has been confirmed that only 400 units of the sportier version of the Volvo C30 will cross the pond. All of them will have the same 2.5-litre turbo engine used in the Volvo C30 T5 and the Ford Focus ST. It will be available in a limited but attractive range of colours, including Sapphire Black, Orinoco Blue, Titanium Grey and Passion Red. All exotic names.

The changes and modifications mainly concern the exterior. The aerodynamic kit has been revised and has taken on a renewed look. Aesthetically, it now strikes a middle ground, in perfect harmony with the sporty aggressiveness of a high-end car. The designs of the rear-view mirrors, the dashboard, the seats, the steering wheel and several other elements have also been revised.

In the photo, the car is in Sapphire Black, which in my opinion suits it perfectly.
