VW Fender up!: An city car with plenty of rhythm

Volkswagen has just presented a special version of its smallest model, the Up!. Called Fender up!, it follows in the footsteps of the Beetle, which already launched an edition with the same theme.
In this case, the Fender up! becomes one of the most fashionable city cars thanks to small aesthetic changes and all the added equipment, at a more affordable price.
On the outside, the Fender up! stands out from its siblings in the range thanks to its 16″ alloy wheels, a new intense orange body colour and darkened side and rear windows, which give it a more modern and sporty look.
In the interior, the upholstery features a new design exclusive to this version, with orange contrast stitching, a shade that can also be chosen as an option for the central dashboard panels. The steering wheel and gear lever knob are trimmed in leather, with orange-coloured details matching the rest of the car.

In addition, the Fender up! comes with the Maps&More system at no extra cost, a 5-inch touchscreen that brings together all the multimedia, information and audio systems in a single device which, moreover, is portable, so it keeps working even outside the vehicle. Of course, one of the standout features of this model is its sound system, made up of 6 speakers and a subwoofer, with a maximum output of 300 W and signed by Fender, as it could not be otherwise.
The Fender up! can be paired with either of the two engines, the 1.0 with 60 CV or the 1.0 with 75 CV, both available with a 5-speed manual gearbox or the 5-speed ASG automated clutch gearbox.
