Wheego Whip LiFe EV makes its debut in Los Angeles

At first glance, it looks as though the compact was developed as a design study, yet you may be surprised to learn that Wheego has unveiled the production version of this electric car at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The compact, called the Whip LiFe EV, is fitted with a 30 kWh battery, which provides the energy needed for the motor to deliver 20 CV along with 129 Nm of torque.
The manufacturer states that this output is enough to move the weight of the car (1,210 kg), and also highlights that the compact can reach a top speed of 105 km/h, and even claims that the vehicle offers a range of 161 km per charge.
There isn’t much to say about the exterior, so the most relevant details come from the interior, as the cabin is equipped with luxury items such as a heater, a CD player, seat belts approved by the US Department of Transportation, and air conditioning.
The compact will go on sale from next month at a price of around 24,070 euros.
