WM Motors unveils a fleet of affordable electric cars
The new Chinese car manufacturer WM Motors has unveiled its future range of electric vehicles.
WM Motor was founded by Freeman Shen, former president of Volvo China, who was instrumental in the acquisition of the Swedish brand by the Geely group. Last December, Shen created WM, which stands for Weltmeister, whose translation is world champion.

WM Motors intends to create mass-market vehicles that are cheap enough for the average consumer to buy without needing government assistance. In November, the company began building a production centre in China at a cost of one billion dollars. WM Motors plans to launch its first model in 2018, and through to 2025 its plan is to present one model each year.
For now, the Chinese manufacturer has unveiled four concepts: a compact, an SUV, a crossover and a saloon. All four vehicles adopt a similar design and have been created by the brand’s chief designer, Sam Sun.

Not many details are known about these models, except that they are 100% electric and that they will introduce a high level of connectivity comparable to that presented by Lynk & Co a few weeks ago. In fact, visually there are many similarities between the concepts unveiled by WM Motors and the Link & CO 01.
More news about WM Motors is expected in the coming months.
