X3 Concept ready for production

Reuben Zammit has created a series of impressive designs and, unlike most , has managed to get some of his projects approved for production.
This is the case of the X3 Concept, based on the chassis of a Mazda RX-7 FD. Its power source is a turbocharged three-rotor engine capable of producing more than 700 CV.
The goal of the project was to create a chassis stiffer than that of the original version while keeping the vehicle’s weight below 1,200 kg. Other innovations include a carbon-fibre roof, gull-wing doors (they stiffen the chassis as they act like a roll cage), a raked windscreen and new heat outlets located in the doors.
The gallery shows a sketch where you can compare the design of the X3 Concept with the Mazda RX-7.
