Zenos E10 R, a whim with a sporty heart

There are three types of car: city cars, which serve the purpose they were conceived for, getting us from one place to another quickly and comfortably; enthusiast city cars, which do the same but with much more refined equipment, aiming to offer greater comfort, convenience and functionality, and, finally, those that are pure indulgence, which, although they share the characteristics of the other two, are truly spectacular. The Zenos E10 R is exactly that.
Before this car appeared on the British market, where it can be found, there was already another Zenos E10, although this version is considerably more powerful and has a modified engine that gives the whole package more performance. It uses the same engine as the Ford Focus RS, a 2.3-litre unit capable of delivering 345 CV at 6,000 rpm and 475 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
All this power is sent to the rear axle through a six-speed manual gearbox. With figures like these, the three-second 0 to 100 km/h acceleration and the 250 km/h top speed it boasts should come as no surprise.

In addition to that spectacular look and its powerful engine, the Zenos E10 R comes with a TFT screen that works as a multifunction console, alongside the information display in front of the driver. The sports seats, which can optionally be heated to combat the winter cold, feature four-point sports harnesses, which can be converted to six-point if that configuration is chosen. The steering wheel, located on the right-hand side, is also sporty.
To go even further and offer the most to the most demanding buyers, the brand will offer a special edition called Drive Edition, which includes an exclusive paint finish, unique exterior trim and adjustable Bilstein dampers. The carbon-fibre seats and other items available separately as options are also standard on this version, which is priced at £39,995, roughly 57,000 euros. And that’s it, the 15 units that will carry this finish.
