1964 Ferrari 250 LM at auction

This classic Italian sports car is the fourth example produced from a limited edition of 32 250 LM cars designed by Pininfarina, whose bodywork was supplied by Scaglietti.
It has changed hands several times since its sale in 1969 and was sacrilegiously used as an ordinary road car until 2002, when a collector recognised the Italian machine.
Let’s remember that this model reached its peak when it won the Australian Grand Prix under the skilled hands of Jochen Rindt in 1965.
This sports car is now fully restored and retains the mechanicals of its era; however, its interior has been modified so it can be used on the road without breaking any safety regulations.
The car is being auctioned in Maranello -Italy- by RM Auctions in association with Sotheby’s; both companies expect to raise around €4,800,000.
We very much doubt the future owner will show it on the streets, so we are sharing the following images with you.
