2012 Shelby GT500 Super Snake, 800 horsepower American muscle

Shelby has no qualms about raising the power of what may be one of the most famous vehicles in its current lineup year after year. And if its return to the American market back in 2008 marked a before and after for the brand, with the 2012 model it intends to break all the molds.
This very model was reborn back in 2008, when the Super Snake delivered a whopping 605 horsepower. However, if you chose a certain performance option, after passing through the gearbox our Mustang could raise its output to an incredible 725 horsepower.

A couple of years later the 2010 version hit the market with a power increase to around 750 horsepower, which we simply found incredible, but the 2012 version surpasses that once again: the 5.4-litre supercharged V8 in this version will deliver a final output of 800 horsepower.
On the other hand, as with other Super Snake models, not only is the power increased, but certain elements are also added, such as a sports suspension, six-piston Baer brakes, a Borla exhaust system, 20-inch Alcoa wheels, a fibreglass bonnet…
Unfortunately we won’t be able to see this incredible muscle car, and I hope the purists will forgive me, until its unveiling at the New York Auto Show at the end of this month.
